What can we do for your event?      The Jazz Chronicles is an extremely versatile group of musicians.  Our main thrust of course is performing jazz/gospel music as we have recorded.  However, here are a few other things you might have need for at your event.              Praise Song Leading     We have years of experience leading many styles of musical worship.  Whether it is Chris Tomlin or Michael W. Smith style contemporary rock praise music, more contemplative acoustic folk style,  or funky gospel, we can meet your musical needs.             Worship     We can provide accompaniment for various styles of worship from traditional, liturgical, hymn sings, jazz, folk, classical or even Taize.             Music Workshops     Each member of the group is a teacher as well as a performer.  We can work with musical groups or individuals in seminar or class situations.  These seminars can be topics such as:     Rhythm section or band instruction Keyboard, bass, guitar, drums, woodwinds, or vocal instruction Computer sequencing, notation, and recording engineering Choir or vocal group or soloist instruction Vocal or instrumental conducting Live sound reinforcement              Background Music     For dinner or receptions, we can provide tasteful, quite jazz, pop, or smooth jazz to enhance the ambiance of your event.            Music for Dancing     We can provide dance music in a variety of styles including pop, rock, classic rock,  swing, and Latin.            Awards Ceremony Music     For awards ceremonies, many times, play-ons and play-offs  can make the event much more exciting.  We can provide either original and well known instrumental songs for that purpose.            PA Systems, Lighting and Backline   Within driving distance from Southern California, we can provide PA systems, stage lighting, and all of the musical instruments and amps necessary for a performance including personnel for set up and operation.
